Compost
We have been stocking up coir pith fines from Koco & Koir Exports (which is a sister concern to us). Due to the steep decline in prices of coir pith this season, we have been unable to sell the fines. However, this has become an advantage for the farm! We have taken the waste from the factory and converted it into manure. In Oct 2022, we made these beds of coir pith and layered them with cow dung, cow dung slurry and poultry manure. We added water sprinklers to the top of the beds and switched them on for 1-1.5 hours every day. After 3 Months, in Jan 2023, We harvested the manure and distributed them to our plants all over.,
